Life in Leroy
Eeeek! I know how long it's been since I've posted and I do apologize. But stay with me. I have lots of things to share with you over the next couple of weeks, so please continue to stop by and check it out!
Life in Leroy
A fun thing that Stacy and I did while she was here visiting was ride around Leroy and 'see the sights'. Now remember I told you that living in such a small community had to get your creative juices flowing for something to do. : )
It was really a good thing for me to do. Because I do live here, I see 'the sights' all the time. So I suppose I really do take for granted such a nice country community I live in. Driving Stacy around and trying to find nice pictures really made me step outside the box and really notice Leroy all over again.
I also thought it would be fun to post those images here to show you where I live. I know most of you probably live more urban and may not get to see the country much. So now begins your official "Tour of Leroy". ; )
Leroy farms cotton and now peanuts! You will also see cows, creeks, pecan orchards, bails of hay everywhere, corn planted in the summer and don't forget about Mr. Buddy's goats.
With a voting population of approximately 700, there are 7 active churches in the community.
