A Photo Safari

The kids were out of school today for Mardi Gras Holiday, so Joseph and I went on a "Photo Safari" (Shelby was off with a friend). We basically walked the woods and water near our home in search of the perfect picture.
Doesn't Joseph look like a natural at this?

I think we found our perfect picture! Needless to say we were not expecting to come across this Cotton Mouth Moccasin. This is as close as I felt comfortable with my 100mm lens!
