Macy and Micheal | The Engagement

What a pleasure it was to photograph an e-session for these two! I'm sorry I won't be photographing their wedding, but Macy actually won my services as a door prize at a recent Bridal Show I participated in. I'm so glad she won! I wish you guys all the best in your future together! These are a few of my favs!

This is probably my favorite picture. It's not really posed and nothing fancy at all; it's just real. I love it!

You can see all of their engagement session pics by going to The Gallery and using Michael's last name as the access code.

Stephanie and Austin | The Wedding

Ceremony: Dauphin Way United Methodist Church
Reception: The Bragg Mitchell Mansion
Florist: Zimlich Bros.
Caterer: Bay Gourmet
Baker: Cakes by Judi

Stephanie's dad choked everyone up when he surprisingly pulled out this baby picture of her. : )

See this beautiful bride today.

I want to focus on The First Look that Stephanie and Austin chose to do. It's great when my couples decide to see each other before the wedding because we know we're gonna get some great light before it gets too dark (especially for those late in the day ceremonies), it relieves extra stress and anxiety from the b/g, they have their pictures made first rather than last, and it's tons of fun and usually pretty emotional for them both! When my clients choose The First Look, we always set them up for an intimate and private meeting without an audience (except for Dad sometimes). ; )

One thing I notice with most of my grooms is that they usually fidget while they're waiting.
He sees her.I wonder what he's thinking.

Dad escorts his only daughter to her beloved.
I wonder what she's thinking?

They embrace...

...and the tears flow.
Joy.
Dad quietly stands back for a few minutes. I think he has a few tears, too.
Happiness.
Thanks guys for allowing me in your world for the last year.
