The Bridal Show

A few images from the bridal show! Lots of fun and lots of brides. If you were a 'Southern Bride' and stopped by for a visit, I'd love to hear from you! Send me a note and let's talk. : )

I was very pleased with my handouts!
Clark did a great job building my 'wall'. He referred to himself as the set-up and take-down crew, but yet I made him dress up. : )

Office News-March '08

Wow! Lots of things going on around here!

Saturday

I'll be with Darcy and Paul for their fabulous wedding in Fairhope. I'm so excited as this is my first wedding of '08 and I look forward to spending the afternoon with them!

Sunday

In the Manor of Weddings
Bridal Show 2008
Sunday, March 30
Mobile, AL
11:00-4:00
I'm so excited to be participating in this Bridal Show on Sunday! I've never been a vendor at this particular show, but from what I've heard, I think it will be nice and intimate with around 40 vendors and 150-200 brides stopping by. The great thing about a smaller show like this is that it's not so fast paced and there is more time for visiting and talking. : )

Please stop by my booth! The first person that specifically mentions they read about this on my blog will receive a little gift from me!
I only have one so make sure you're the first!

I look forward to seeing you there!

Seniors!
I have several Senior Sessions on the calendar and I love it! I love providing these seniors with your not-so-traditional portraits. The sessions last for about an hour, take place at a location of your choice and you can change clothes as many times as you like! Tons of fun! One thing for sure is that you can bet your Senior Portraits won't look like everyone else's! : )

Meet Jessica Senior 2008

I have another Senior to post tomorrow then be sure to check back next week to see wedding favorites and a slideshow and pictures from the show!

Stephanie | The Bridal Session

I had another amazing opportunity this week to photograph a beautiful bride! I first met Stephanie and her mom in March 2007 when they secured her May '08 wedding date. Stephanie chose the beautiful grounds of the Bragg Mitchell Mansion for her bridal session and I agree she made a fabulous choice. I had such a fun time with her and I think we got some great photos to boot! ; )

Here are a few favs!

Jenna Grace | The Bridal Session

I feel like I already know this precious bride. Jenna Grace actually secured their June wedding date in January 2007! It's good for her, because lots and lots of brides have called wanting that June 21 date!

Jenna Grace and I met up at Aldridge Gardens in B'ham last week for a fabulous bridal session. We had a fun and relaxed time together and I had a blast working in the location and light!

Here are a few favs from the day!

Simply beautiful!I couldn't decide which of these with her veil that I liked best. ; ) Which do you like?

Kate and Ben | The Engagement

Fun times here!!! As a Youth Minister for the past 7 years, you can bet Kate and her beloved were a blast to be around! I had such a good time with her and Ben and Daisy May and I am so stoked about being a part of their wedding day. They've already shared some great things that will be happening that day and I'm really looking forward to being there! I'll be sure to pass it along here. ; )
Here are some of my favorites from their e-session.

10th & 17th Place

Now I know that receiving recognition for 10th and 17th place does not sound too praise worthy, but I'm pretty stoked about it! I had two images place in the 4th Quarter Image Contest of the Wedding Photojournalist Association and considering that there are hundreds if not thousands of entries from all around the world, I'm pretty excited and honored!

This first picture I'm especially proud of as it was taken near my hometown. This was during Sarah and Nick's Wedding Rehearsal on the U.S.S. Alabama Battleship. It placed 17th in the Rehearsal Category.

I also love, love this image and this bride!! Just looking at Ginger having such a great time puts me back there on Carillon Beach. It reminds me of a fabulous wedding Ginger and Marcus celebrated. This image placed 10th in the Departure Category.

A special thanks to all of my couples for allowing me to share in your day with you!

Happy Friday!
