The Year in Review

Wow. I really don't know how else to put it...just wow! 2007 has been an amazing year for sure. Personally and professionally. Our family has faced huge challenges this year and we are so blessed to have so far conquered them! : )

If you remember, Joseph severed his Achilles Tendon back in March and underwent a total of 5 surgeries for the severe infection and finally the recontruction in May. He walked without crutches for the first time around the first of September and actually ran for the first time only about 3 weeks ago. Needless to say it was an emotional event. He still goes to physical therapy 2 times a week, but is really doing great!

Shelby is also growing by leaps and bounds! It's hard to discipline my children when I have to look up to them!! Her favorite past time is twirling her baton and she really has a talent for it!

The business is yet another amazing feat! This year has been phenomenol for us and I am so blessed to have a job that I love doing! Clark and I travel together almost every weekend and have met new people and made new friendships from literally all over the world!

I hope you enjoy the slideshow I've put together from a mixture of all of our weddings from the year. Some of the images may be familiar and some are actually new picks especially for this. I also can't believe how incredibly fast this year has gone by! In looking over this slideshow, it seems just yesterday I was photographing some of these weddings!

Thanks for everything and the faith you have in me! Thanks for checking in on my world as often as you do, too. My blog has had approximately 10,000 visitors in 2007!!!

Happy New Year and I hope you have a fabulous 2008!

Office News-December 07

Just to let you know what's happening around here!

We had a fun Christmas as usual playing games, watching the kids open their gifts and eating and eating and eating some more! We played the board game "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader" and Clark and I were partners. We bombed on the first question! A first grade Science question at that...and no, I'm not even going to tell you what the question was, but I don't remember what planet is closest to the Sun! ; ) Needless to say, everybody had quite a laugh over that!

Over the next few days and into next week, I'll be here, but just at a distance. : )

Clark and I will be traveling to Montgomery on Thursday covering Bea and Johnny's wedding rehearsal tomorrow night and then their all day wedding event on Friday beginning with a luncheon and ending with a midnight breakfast! I expect it to be tons of fun!

Saturday morning, we'll then be going to Biloxi to cover Laura and Matt's all day wedding event as well! A busy, but exciting weekend!

Also coming up next week:

*I'll be posting Erin and Ben's 2 day event we recently shot. I'm so excited to be posting these pictures! These 2 families were tons of fun to be around and it definitely shows in their pictures. They were smiles all day long! Erin and Ben have been so patient in waiting for their pictures, so look for that next Friday!

*The Best of 2007! I'll be posting a slideshow early next week of a few of my favs from all of our 2007 weddings. And yes, I'll even grab a few from Erin and Ben's wedding and even from this weekend's events, too.

Joseph rocks at Guitar Hero! (He'd kill me if he knew I posted this!) : ) Shelby made cookies using her new cookie press while also wearing her new apron. : ) Thanks so much for checking in!

Ginger and Marcus

Can I tell you I love everything about this wedding, this slideshow and this couple! Ginger's smile was so infectious and Marcus' love for Ginger was not easy for him to keep to himself! It wasn't just the couple that was tons of fun to be around...everybody laughed and cut up all day. It was as if it was a marrying of families and friends, not just these 2 people. The love that everyone shared that day was evident. I hope you can see in this mini slideshow just how strong the ties are and the closeness of the friendships. I teared up all over again watching the slideshow!

Here's a few favs from the day and of course a slideshow.

Ginger was glowing the entire day!Check out the look on Marcus' face when Ginger met him at the alter. After the reception (at sunset), we met up down at the beach for some fun pictures.

Why run through the sparkler line just once when you can dance and run back and forth over and over again! Lots of fun!!

Angela and Will

She whispered, "I hardly ever put on a dress." Angela, a Wildlife Biologist, teared up, giggled and couldn't stop grinning when she saw herself for the first time in the mirror. Beautiful indeed, as she won the heart of a fellow Biologist named Will. When he also saw his bride for the first time, he teared up and couldn't stop grinning.

Neither of them needed any prompting from me at all. They were so excited to see each other, so full of joy and emotion, it was as if I wasn't even there.

God smiled on us that day with the perfect location, the perfect weather and a beautiful red door. : )

See more of their pictures here in a mini slideshow.
